How To Photograph Your Space

1. Take all photos with shades open, turn on all the lights, the more light the better

2. Shoot the room from the corners of your space. Be sure to include all walls, floors, and ceilings.

3. Remove clutter and junk, photograph current decor and furniture you'd like to keep, if applicable.

4. Send in your best photos

TIPS:

• Take photos durning the day
• Avoid full sun coming in windows as this casts weird shadows in your images
• Shoot straight on and think about your angles
• Shoot through doorways (stand in the hall) to get a wider shot of a room
• Use natural lighting
• The best time of day to shoot is first thing in morning or later in the afternoon
• Try turning the camera vertically
• Try standing on a chair
